Political leaders told to do away with hypocrisy

Kumasi, Jan 1, GNA - The Very Reverend Dr Yaw Frimpong-Manso, former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, has called on political leaders to stop the hypocrisy and rein in their erring followers.

He said keeping mute over insults and acts of violence by their supporters' was indicative of tacit endorsement and this was unhelpful to the peace of the nation.

The former Moderator noted that this year's elections would be a big test case for the nation and it was therefore imperative for all to pray and work towards safeguarding national cohesion.
