Policeman slumps to his death whiles training at gym

The resolve of a police officer at umu in the Upper West Region to exercise and keep in shape has rather ended fatally after he collapsed while undertaking body building exercises at a gym.

43-year-old Corporal Isaac Nyame was pronounced dead after being rushed to the hospital following his collapse on Tuesday afternoon.

Confirming the incident, the Sissala East District Police Commander, ASP Stephen Abanga stated that Corporal Nyame collapsed after a brisk session in his own gym. He was rushed to the hospital where he [Abanga] visited and was told the deceased would be attended to.

“I visited him where I was told he would be attended to so I left, only for me to be told in less than two hours later that he could not make it”, he said
