Police completes investigations on bomb suspects

The police has completed its investigations into the matter in which three accused persons are being held for possession of explosive materials suspected to be bombs.

The accused persons, Ismaila Ali Musah, teacher, Abdul Karim Yakubu, petrol attendant and Osman Alhassan, an onion seller were all in court.

Prosecution led by Detective Chief Inspector Simon Appiosonu said the case docket has been forward to the Attorney Generals office for advice.

Meanwhile lawyers for the accused persons today repeated their application for bail, but the court presided over by Mr Ebenezer Kweku Ansah has deferred ruling to Friday February 23.

Police at the Odorkor divisional command in Accra on Jan 15, 2018 arrested suspects who were in possession of grenades.

It was rumoured that one of the suspects is a member of the dreadful terrorist group ISIS.
