The Police Patrol Team has arrested nine teenage girls suspected to be commercial sex workers at a house in Cantonments upon a tip off.

Among them were two foreigners, a Nigerian and a Sierra Leonean. Police Sergeant Samuel Kwakye of the Cantonments Police Station disclosing this to reporters in Accra put the ages of the suspects between 13 and 15 years. According to Sergeant Kwakye, the teenagers were being harboured by a woman aged about 30 years, whose name was not disclosed for intelligence purposes.
