Oil marketing company, Petrosol Ghana Limited, has confirmed that one of its vehicles was involved in an incident in Accra on the morning of Sunday, September 7, 2025, prompting the launch of an urgent investigation.
In an official statement released on September 7, the company acknowledged awareness of a distressing video circulating on social media that captured the incident.
Petrosol said it was “deeply concerned” by reports of injuries, extending thoughts to the individuals and families affected.
“The safety of the community remains our highest priority,” the statement read.
According to the release, Petrosol has already initiated an internal probe into the matter, while also cooperating fully with the Ghana Police Service as they conduct their official inquiries.
Its management assured the public that the situation is being handled with the utmost seriousness.

“This matter is being treated with the utmost seriousness. We are committed to transparency and will provide verified updates as soon as more information becomes available,” the statement added.
The company did not immediately provide details of the cause of the incident or the extent of injuries reported, but assured that updates will follow as investigations progress.
Petrosol, a leading player in Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector, reiterated its commitment to accountability and community safety as public attention remains fixed on the unfolding developments.
