GHANASoccernet.com African Football Specialist Nuhu Adams reports on the performance of Ghanaian players for foreign clubs in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup at the weekend.

Striker Derrick Sassraku was a first half substitute as Club Africain suffered an embarrasing 8-0 defeat at TP Mazembe.

Trio Kwasi Asante, Nicholas Gyan and James Kotei all played for Tanzanian side Simba SC who got thumped 5-0 at Al Ahly.

Horoya AC recorded their first victory of the group stage as they pipped FC Platinum 1-0 in Zimbabwe on Saturday.

Godfred Asante enjoyed full throttle of the encounter likewise Hudu Yakubu and Sebe Baffour Kyei for the Guinean giants.
