People are Planing to Overthrow the Gov't -Wayo

Leading Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Charles Kofi Wayo says he is privy to information about a possible coup attempt against the Kufuor government. Even though he failed to give the details about this, he has advised Ghanaians to resist it with all their might. “I know as I am sitting here, people are planning to overthrow the government”, he told LUV FM in Kumasi.

He failed to substantiate his statement when pressed to do so but said the Ministers are not doing anything to help alleviate the plight of the people and as a result, the ruling NPP is being dragged in the mud. Mr Wayo noted that things are getting worse by the day and the President and his team are doing nothing about them.
