Parliament chapel international launches 20 years anniversary

Apostle Francis Amoako Attah Apostle Francis Amoako Attah

Parliament Chapel International has launched its 20 years anniversary with a call on members to remain steadfast since twenty years of their dedication to the work of God is the beginning of the manifestation of God’s abundant Blessings in their lives.

The Founder and Leader of Parliament Chapel International, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah delivering a sermon to mark the launching said 20 years are years of covenant and sacrifices and that celebrating 20year in ministry, the Church is celebrating the covenant between them and their God.

He said the time has come for God to take over the lives and affairs of His people who have sacrificed and kept the covenant for 20 years, and that God will never forsake His people.

According to him, there are Biblical manifestations of how God manifested in the lives of people who, through hard work and dedication reaped what they have sowed immensely.

He said the Scripture about Jacob and Laban in Genesis 31: 38 – 55, is one of the many instances that God through His infinite Wisdom showed the importance of sacrifice and covenant keeping.

He said service and dedication always come with a Blessing and urged Christians to always remember to serve God with all their hearts and minds to benefit from the Kingdom Riches as was exhibited in Genesis 31:55 which says, “Early the next morning Laban kissed his grandchildren and his daughters and blessed them. Then he left and returned home.”

Speaking in an interview after the service, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah said God’s Favour over his life and that of his ministry has been overwhelming and that is what has sustained his Ministry for 20 years.

He said Ministry today has changed as majority of the Men of God have turned away from preaching Heaven and Righteousness to preach material things which only bring comfort to the flesh but not the soul.

Speaking on his 20 years’ journey, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah described the journey as a tedious, but thank God for giving him the strength to move on, and be stronger even when the storm seemed unbearable.

According to him, it all began with his Spirit filled journey when he answered the call of God in the 1990’s coming from an Apostolic and Pentecostal background.

He said he had a passion to minister to lost souls and spread the gospel so he started off as an Evangelist and the vision has over the years intensified to the point of desperation as the coming of Christ becomes more imminent.

He said, the time has come for Christians to understand that worshipping God is not a problem but waiting on Him, saying “worshipping God is not a problem at all. But the problem is waiting upon the Lord. A lot of people miss this and always say we are worshipping God, we accepted Christ and think that is all.”

He believes that the time has come for Men of God to go back and preach the Bible as it was done in the past for people to know the true Word of God and be able to make right choices between the true Word of God and the Genetically Modified Gospel.

Apostle Francis Amoako Attah was bitter about the neglect of the True Gospel and mentioned that Christians must search for the True Word and desist from chasing material things which will at the end, bring them nothing but anguish.

Apostle Francis Amoako Attah also averred that the growth of his ministry is not without the support of the media, his pastors and elders of Parliament Chapel International.

He expressed great commendation to the media for the good works they have done to help his church reach out to the world with the true Word of God.
He also expressed appreciation to some members of his ministry who helped him move ahead when all seemed lost.

According to him he had come this far with the help of people like Mama Thess, Dr. Frimpong, Sister Tina, his Branch Pastors and Rev Adae Mensah and said they have indeed sowed seeds in his life which bear fruits in abundance over the past 20 years and are continuing to bear fruit for the Kingdom of God.

He also expressed deep appreciation to Rev. Dr. Sam Korankye Ankrah who ordained him into Ministry and prayed that God Almighty will bless Rev. Dr. Sam Korankye Ankrah and his wife for what they have done to help build a ministry for God.
Above all, he thanked his Wife, Rev. Mrs. Mavis Amoako-Attah who he said, is “God ssent”

According to him, his wife has been a blessing to him and to his ministry and blessed God for giving him such a wife, saying that “behind every successful man, there is a great woman.”
