PPP, the only Party that can change fortunes of Ghanaians - Dr Nduom

Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, the flag-bearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has stated that the party was the only one that could turn the fortunes of Ghanaians and make their livelihoods better.

He said this when he met a cross section of some members of the party and others who had expressed interest to join the party at Bawku on Wednesday.

Dr Nduom was of the view that both the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party had failed Ghanaians, making the cost of living unbearable and “Everywhere you go people express interest in the PPP to fight the battle to deliver Ghanaians from suffering.”

Dr Nduom appealed to Ghanaians to join the party and said the PPP, when voted into power, would not discriminate in terms of political and ethnic background when it comes to opportunities such as awarding of contract, and creating jobs for the people.

“As far as the person in question has the ability to perform and deliver the goods the opportunity will be given to the person to execute or perform the job”, he said.

He said the Party would ensure that every child of school going age is supported to attend school from the Kindergarten level to the Senior High School.

Dr Nduom said malaria would be eradicated in Ghana when the party wins the 2012 election and added that the disease was once in France, Britain and the US but was eradicated and could easily be done in Ghana.

He said it was only PPP that had the greatest potential in job creation and this could be testified by the considerable numbers of people he had employed in his companies in Ghana.

He said he was optimistic that the PPP would capture power come the 2012 election since concrete measures were being put in place to ensure that dream was achieved.
