The Ghana Premier League Board is not responsible for the inspection of stadium facilities before the commencement of the 2015/16 Premier League season, Ghanasoccernet.com can reveal.

A recent visit conducted by GHANAsoccernet.com at some of the match venues revealed that some of the facilities were not up to the standard of the Premier League Board.

As done every year, the PLB is expected to inspect facilities at the various venues ahead of the start of the Premier League season.

But inquiries done by Ghana’s leading sports website have revealed that the PLB is not in charge of the inspection of the facilities anymore.

A newly-created board known us the Club Licensing Board is expected to take charge of the inspections of the facilities to permit or deny clubs the opportunity to play at their chosen venues.

The Ghana Premier League has tentatively been scheduled to commence on the 20th of this month but inspection of the various centers is yet to be done.
