PLAYBACK: 'Newsfile' on JoyNews

A number of people have argued that there needs to be more transparency from the government as regards the construction of a National Cathedral.

Some judges would have to be relocated from their homes to make way for the National Cathedral, a situation which has led to some persons calling on authorities to consider a different location for the project, taking into cognisance the cost involved.

As Samson Lardy sat with his guests on NewsFile, Saturday, the issue was discussed and suggestions were made.

Away from that, the rippling effects of the banking crisis was tackled as many continue to lose their jobs.

Finally, issues bordering on the regional elections of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was featured on program. The Greater Accra branch of NDC voted on Saturday, September 1 at the Central Cafeteria, University of Ghana, Legon, to elect its executives to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.
