PLAYBACK: Newsfile on JoyNews

On this week’s edition on Newsfile, panelists discussed some major issues which made the headlines in the course of the week.

Issues arising from the illegal sale of state lands as former president Kufuor and former president Rawlings’ names popped up as individuals who were involved. The Ministry of Land and Natural Resources some two months ago constituted a committee to investigate the inappropriate sale of state lands to over four hundred individuals mainly made up of politicians.

The spotlight was also on the speech made by the former president John Mahama during the National Democratic Congress’ Unity Walk which took place in Cape Coast last weekend as well as the Vice president’s response to his comments.

Also for discussion was the re-organisation of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as the ten regional chairmen endorsed former president Mahama to contest in the 2020 elections.

This and other issues were discussed on today's edition of Newsfile on Multi TV's JoyNews channel with host Samson Lardy Ayenini.
