PAC Chairman, Kan Dapaah, robbed at gun-point

RadioXYZonline.com can confirm that Hon. Albert Kan-Dapaah, Member of Parliament for Afigya Sekyere West was robbed at gun-point around 11:00PM on Tuesday.

Mr. Kan Dapaah had returned home after participating in a programme on Metro TV when he was attacked.

The MP who lives in Dansoman Sahara near Mama’s Inn, was not injured in the attack. He however told Okay FM in Accra a while ago that the robbers, numbering three, made away with a laptop and few items.

According to him, even though some of his children were at home, the robbers entered only his room. He said one of them told him that he was fortunate to get away unscathed because he is a public figure.

His vehicle was however riddled with gunshots from the onslaught.

Mr. Kan Dapaah says he will assist the police to complete the investigations on the matter. He said even though he is shaken by the attack, he does not suspect any political foul play at the moment.

Hon. Kan Dapaah has been in the public eye in recent times after his controversial encounters with current and former government officials at the Public Accounts Committee.
