The Member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayirebi and former Minister for Works and Housing, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has confirmed his participation in the Inspired Alswel Foundation (IAF) Young Advocates Training Programme, scheduled for Thursday, June 26, 2025.
This high-level, youth-focused initiative, organized by the Inspired Alswel Foundation, is designed to equip emerging changemakers with critical skills and knowledge to lead advocacy efforts and drive social transformation across Africa.
The programme will be held under the theme “Navigating Change: Youth as Catalysts for Social Transformation.”
The NPP lawmaker is expected to deliver a keynote address and interact with participants during a mentorship session. His presence, organizers say, will underscore the importance of youth leadership in shaping the future of the continent.
The training programme will bring together a select cohort of young leaders from across the country and beyond for a full day of intensive sessions, practical workshops, and strategic networking. Participants will receive training in areas such as policy advocacy, media engagement, civic leadership, and community development.
Ahead of the programme, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of IAF, Alswel Annan, expressed optimism about the event, noting that it forms part of the Foundation’s broader vision of nurturing a new generation of socially conscious leaders.
According to him, IAF's goal is to build the capacity of young people to become bold and informed voices for change in their communities.
“Having Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah join us is not only an honour but also a validation of the work we’re doing to support youth advocacy across Africa,” he stated in an exclusive interview.
