Ghanaians and Non-Ghanaians


Dear Friends:

Please receive fraternal greetings from the Brong Ahafo Association of Columbus,
Ohio.

On Labor Day Weekend, the Council of Brong Ahafo Associations of North America
(COBAANA) will be holding its Third Annual Convention in Columbus, Ohio. The event
which is hosted by our local branch will attract about 600 participants from Canada and
several cities in the United States, as well as delegates from Ghana, Germany,
Australia, England and Italy.

The Convention will take place at the Aladdin Shrine Center, 3850 Stelzer Rd,
Columbus, OH 43219 from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Dinner starts at 10:00 p.m., and
proceeds will go to benefit the Children’s Ward at the Sunyani General Hospital in
Sunyani, Brong Ahafo. An entry donation of $50 is being asked from each attendee.
Music and dance will be well featured at the ceremony.

On behalf of the entire members of the Association in Columbus, the Planning
Committee wishes to formally invite you all to the Convention.
