Okuapehene Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo Ababio and his elders of the Akuapem traditional area send their warmest greetings to all our Muslims brothers and sisters across the world, in Ghana, and most especially all Muslims in Akuapem communities, as they celebrate Eid al- Fitr, known as the festival of breaking the fast.

Eid al- Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. A month of prayer, fasting, reflection and other traditional observance.

Although humanity is going through tough times of this coronavirus pandemic which is affecting lives, social life, and the economy at large, he prays with them to find hope, comfort, and strength in the healing powers of their prayers and devotion.

He does appreciate all public and private sector personnel most especially the frontlines who are Muslims and working selflessly during these bad times, fasting and fighting this COVID 19 pandemic.

Again, he’s urging all our Muslim brothers and sisters to stay at home, keep social distances and other activities and also try to adhere to all protocols laid down during this COVID 19 pandemic era.

Finally Oseadeeyo sends his best wishes for a blessed and joyous Eid al-Fitr.
Happy Eid.
