The Member of Parliament (MP) for Odododiodoo, Nii Ashie Kotey, has extended his support to students who recently completed the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) by donating 400 trunks and 400 mattresses to aid their transition into senior high schools.
The presentation ceremony, held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Akoto Lante in the Odododiodoo constituency, brought together students, parents, teachers and community leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Nii Ashie Kotey said the donation was part of his broader commitment to promoting education and alleviating the financial burden on parents struggling to provide essential school items for their children.
“This gesture is to support our young students and their parents as they take the next step in their educational journey. Education remains my top priority, and I will continue to invest in initiatives that empower the youth of this constituency,” he stated.
