Squatters on a parcel land around the Santasi roundabout who were recently ejected by a combined team of armed police and military personnel but returned weeks later have been issued with the final ultimatum to vacate.

The place owned by the former Presidential nominee of the United Progressive Party (UPP) Akwasi Addai popularly called Odike has been under serious contention after they were fist ejected.

But the businessman, who is determined to reclaim his land, has the squatters a week’s ultimatum to leave the place or he will use brute force to get them ejected.

Mr. Odike secured the land from government to construct a multipurpose business complex and subsequently secured a permit to demolish makeshift structures used as houses of squatters mainly of northern extraction

Justifying his action he said “it is work for government. We are constructing a car testing centre for DVLA, a mall and to make it a business centre. I have given them a human face that is how come I have allowed them to stay for this long. It is now time they vacate it for the land to be used for its intended purpose”.
