Controversial man of God and founder of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, recently surprised many when he decided to gift a homeless member of his church with money from a 'seed-sowing' exercise during a church service.

In a video gone viral on social media, the said church member, a trained nurse awaiting posting came out of the crowd to respond to a 'prophetic' word from the self styled man of God. She said her landlady had ejected her from her residence because some other tenants had engaged in an illegal electricity connection - a situation that had led to the Electricity Company of Ghana disconnecting power to the household.

She also narrated how her ordeal compelled her to seek refuge at a hotel in the Eastern Region. She had been paying GHC 40 for a room to house her and her younger sibling.

After hearing her plight, Bishop Obinim queried her on a number of subjects and then decided to gift her with monies that had been used to 'sow seeds' by some church members. He in addition gave the lady money from his personal wallet, all in a bid to, as he said, help her find a place and then, a husband.

Daniel Obinim also promised to secure a place for her to practise as a health professional.
