The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Obibini Blackman Company Dr. Kofi Aboagye Dompem, has disclosed that his outfit will soon be distributing fridges and mineral water to financially support widows and the needy in society.

According to him, less privileged women in the Kumasi Metropolis who want to go into mineral water selling business will be given free fridges, soft drinks and mineral water produced by the company to sell.

The company produces Brukutu gin bitters, Buga gin bitters, Oga coffee liquor and the latest addition include ZET mineral water, Just Ice mineral water and twenty five soft drinks to hit the market by December.

He said the money accrued from the sale of the water would serve as a start up capital for the women and that the company will not demand returns from those who will engage the company.

The Boss of Obibini Blackman indicated that they are poised to empower women financially by solving unemployment in the region.

‘We will provide free fridges, mineral water and soft drinks to women especially widows who want to go into mineral water selling business,’ he promised.

Speaking on Abusua FM’s Abusua Church Bells hosted by Ike Da-Unpredictable, he disclosed that they have purchased bottling machine which will be distilling soft drinks soon.

‘Almost all the companies are based in Accra, we act as if people cannot help to solve unemployment situation in the Ashanti region, we want to do away with that perception, you will be marvelled to see the kind of machines we have bought to produce soft drinks, the machine is even bigger than the Coca Cola machine that was removed from Kumasi to Accra,’ he revealed.

Dr.Dompem hinted that the company in the coming days will be paying the hospital bills of bedridden women and children at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).

‘I want to work very hard to support sick people at KATH, and the needy in society through the sale of my products,’ he said.

He called on Ghanaians to support businesses with prayers to grow from strength to strength, advising widows not to give up in life.

He further called on Ghanaians to purchase Just ice mineral water and ZET mineral water geared towards helping the needy.
