Obed Asamoah Is Mad

National Democratic Congress Chairman, Dr Obed Asamoah is angry. This follows some very reliable information emanating from Dr Asamoah?s foot soldiers that their mentor is being accused by his detractors of supporting Dr Kwesi Botchwey?s bid to lay claim to the NDC?s Presidential slot in 2004.

The man who in the run-up to the NDC chairmanship contest in April this year, became the subject of what was obviously a smear campaign, sources say, is furious about another smudge campaign being waged against his personality as the days roll up to the party?s presidential primaries.

To set the records straight, he is scheduled to hold a press conference today to clear his name and possibly provide answers to some of the issues being raised by those peddling what his supporters term ?terrible lies against the personality of our chairman.

Investigations conducted over the last few weeks revealed that the Obed detractors have as part of their mode of operation, been planting stories in the newspapers to discredit the chairman over his alleged role in Kwesi Botchwey?s campaign.
