O. K. MONNEY (ex Kwabotwe Headmaster) passes away

O. K. MONNEY passed away last Thursday. May he Rest In Peace.

It is my sad duty to report to you the passing away, at the SSNIT Hospital, Osu on Thursday 9th March 2000 of Mr. O. K. Monney, former Headmaster of Mfantsipim.

He had been ill with cancer for some time and was transferred from the Saltpond Hospital to the SSNIT Hospital some weeks ago through the good work of two old boys: Prof. Ofori-Adjei of the Ghana Medical School (currently Director of the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research) and Dr Fiifi Ellis, Director of the SSNIT Hospital.

The family has decided that he should be buried in Accra. They are now consulting with Calvary Church to determine the most convenient date.
