Anas Aremeyaw Anas says Kwesi Nyantakyi is only manufacturing stories in a desperate attempt to salvage his credibility in the aftermath of the investigative documentary which exposed the former GFA president receiving monies to allegedly compromise his position.

Mr. Nyantakyi on Monday issued a statement to deny allegations of influence peddling, corruption and breaches of local and international football regulations against him in the two-year investigative documentary by Anas and his Tiger Eye PI team.

He further made counter allegations against Anas and his team suggesting they hacked his officials email address, attempted to blackmail him, as well as twisted facts in the video documentary which was premiered in Accra on June 6.

But Ana’s Tiger Eye team has responded to Mr. Nyantakyi’s counter allegation, stating the claims in the statement was manufactured by the embattled former GFA president to make him appear like a victim.

“We understand that, under the circumstances Mr Nyantakyi finds himself, he would want to clutch unto any straw to become credible. Anyone who knows Nyantakyi well, knows that he does not give up easily,” a statement signed by Tiger Eye PI Monday afternoon said.

Nyantakyi claimed that someone demanded 150,000 dollars from him through his lawyer for the videos on him to be dropped but Tiger Eye has laughed off that allegation describing it as “a complete fabrication, a figment of Mr. Nyantakyi’s imagination”.

That allegation, Tiger Eye said, has no merit whatsoever and has thus dared Nyantakyi to name the so-called third party who attempted to blackmail him.

“In fact, Tiger Eye is willing to provide undercover support to assist him find this third party should he extend an invitation to us again,” the group said.

On the claims by Nyantakyi that his official email account was hacked, Tiger Eye said “this is also manufactured to make him appear like a victim.

“Again, we dare him to substantiate who hacked his email and how the person did. In this day of advanced technology, these events are traceable,” he added.

Tiger Eye insisted that Nyantakyi was indeed $65k as a gift, adding they also paid all his hotel and accommodation expenses though he was on an official trip.

Tiger Eye has consequently advised Nyantakyi to address the issues it uncovered in the investigative documentary “without seeking to pull others into his behaviour”.

“The raw tape together with all documentary evidence have been submit to the security agencies to investigate,” Tiger Eye stated.
