Nyamekye and Friends are set to donate to the less privileged in Ghana through their project titled ‘My Parcel of Smiles’ on December 26 at the Addo Nkwanta, a village in the Akuapim South District.

Christmas is a season of merrymaking, celebration, giving and observing the birth of Jesus Christ but many at times there are people who don’t see the need to join in the celebration because they are deprived to the things that make the festive season an exciting one.

Nyamekye and Friends foundation in collaboration with Save My world foundation is determined to put smiles on the faces on children and adults who are not shown love by the society during the festive occasion.

According to Attakorah Amaniampong Nyamekye, the initiator of the project, “My parcel of Smiles was a response to the voice of Our Lord Almighty I heard in August. God wants us to execute this project coming festive season so we bring Smiles to the faces of the less privileged.”

He revealed that while some people are able to buy new clothes, travel to any country of their choice and eat any food of their choice there are others who don’t even have anything to eat to talk of travelling or changing their wardrobe.

He added that with some little efforts from his friends and other loved ones they have raised funds to give out gift boxes on the day.

“My Parcel of Smiles shall contain a 5kg rice, noodles, 1-litre oil and a pair of shoe. It may be just what a household needs to make their Xmas a memorable one,” Nyamekye added.

The Organizers have called on the public to contribute to the project by donating clothes, food products, time, money and other things which will bring smiles and blessing to the people of Addo Nkwanta.

“Let's join hands make this Christmas better for the less privileged in our society. Its a Charity fun trip to create Smiles. It is a Godly course just for the Sole Glory of God.”
