Nunoo-Mensah Stays - NDC Amsterdam

A.C.G.I.E is a very disgruntled group if indeed they choose to use derogatory words to address comments raised by Brig.-General Nunoo Mensah . Infact, though very little is known about this so-called group that supposedly speaks on behalf of Ghanaians in the diaspora and yet limits its views to be that of Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers and Scientists, the NDC Amsterdam Branch would like to state emphatically that the group is an NPP orchestrated group.

The so-called members of the ACGIE , would be damned if they can say that there are or they have any NDC sympathizers in their group, of even sympathizers of other Ghanaian political parties in their group. Its 2013 so if these so called concerned Ghanaians are still hang on PNDC, then we ask how concerned are they?

For a group of Lawyers, Doctors , Engineers and/or Scientist, as stated by their Secretary Kwaku Anane-Gyinde, isn’t it questionable to see how quickly they took Brig. Gen Nunoo Mensah’s work with the CIA out of context, because around the world, the CIA or for use of a better word “the American Government” has a good working relationship with various National Security offices with countries around the globe in their bid to combat Terrorism , Internet Fraud etc etc ., so what seems to be the problem with Brig. General Nunoo-Mensah’s admitting to have worked with the American security organization.

The Association of Concerned Ghanaians in Europe, must spare us all the ridicule, because again there are better and more effective ways of communication, than tagging into the two wrongs don’t make a right. Reality is, the Honorable General, aired his personal views on what he sees as an on-going trend of STRIKES and DEMONSTRATIONS orchestrated by the opposition party (NPP) in Ghana, and as frustrated as many are in the country as a result of these Strike actions, he dared himself to say if the kitchen is too hot get out of it, which sadly enough seems to become a noose around the neck of opposition party members. How petty can the opposition party get if all there are good at is hanging themselves to the semantics of words used by anyone remotely close to Government.

NDC Amsterdam, calls on Ghanaians to brace themselves to the bare facts of our reality as Ghanaians, and contribute effectively towards the government’s fight against corruption and injustice. Ghanaians from all works of life should bring solutions to the table of governance, because only then can policy makers also make the right policies that can enhance our collective lives as a nation. Criticizing and blatantly trying hard to discredit the efforts of the government is hurting our developmental growth. We call on government to look into ways of creating Shadow Ministerial Positions /Partnerships with the opposition parties in the country so that appointed Ministers can meet with their counterparts from the other parties on a regular bases to foster and nourish our development as a nation onto a path that every one feels a part of.

NDC Amsterdam, applauds the efforts of all well-meaning Ghanaians who are working tirelessly to ensure that our nation stands on its feet. God Bless Ghana.

Signed
