Ntim is NPP’s best bet for victory in 2020 election – Time Aso Movement

A group of New Patriotic Party (NPP) members known as the Time Aso Movement who are rooting for Mr Stephen Ntim to become the next National Chairman of the party has described Mr Ntim as NPP’s best bet to secure victory for the party in 2020 elections.

According to the group, Mr Ntim is an honest, loyal and hardworking man who has worked tirelessly over the year and continues to work for the party’s interest even after he loses elections.

Mr Stephen Ntim is contesting for the National Chairman position of the NPP for the fourth time after losing to Mr Peter Mac Manu, Jake Obetsebi Lamptey and Paul Afoko in previous elections.

Addressing a Press conference, the Chairman of the Time Aso Movement, Emmanuel Abbey stated that Mr Ntim as Chairman of the NPP, will bring to bear a wealth of experience in party organization, resource mobilization and above all unity which will help in advancing the course of the party.

He described Mr Ntim as a political mathematician and a serious political strategist whose vision is to prepare a fertile ground as National Chairman to ensure that the party breaks the monotonous jinx of two term of executive power between NPP and NDC, who believes the NPP should remain in power beyond 8 years.

“The NPP has a treasure in this earthen vessel, a gold refined from all the heat and pressure of the past elections which remained steadfast and is still valuable, a diamond which can neither break or be bought. It is time to acknowledge his loyalty and excellence. It is time to empower him for exploits. Stephen Ayesu Ntim is the man to chair us into our next victory and beyond.” Mr Abbey noted.

Mr Ntim was assigned to settler communities in 2016, and by the end of the elections, he worked hard to improve the electoral fortunes of the party in those areas, culminating in the wrestling of seats hitherto considered as the traditional seats of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He faces stiff opposition from Acting Chairman, Freddy Blay in the election which is slated for July, 2018.
