Notorious armed robber sentenced to 20 years in prison in Wa

The Wa High Court in the Upper West Region presided over by Justice Kwasi Boakye has sentenced a 47-year-old notorious armed robber, Fuseini Sunkari and his accomplice, 27-year-old Ali Sulemani to 40 years in hard labour.

The duo were sentenced on two charges, conspiracy to commit robbery and robbery.

Fuseini Sunkari, appearing in court admitted he had lost count of the number of people he’s robbed but has fond memories of all things he robbed his victims of.

He was arrested by the Police at a hideout in Guest House at Tumu.

The notorious armed robber had terrorized residents for the past ten years and inflicted machete wounds on his victims and also shot to death a policeman stationed at Wicheaw.
