Non-governmental organization fetes children

No Limit Charity Organization, a non-profit organization on Wednesday organized a Christmas party for children in James Town and its environs.

The event which brought together over 500 children was organized with the support of the Accra Lions Clubs, the Ghana Immigration Service and some individuals.

Ms Rita Esionam Garglo, Founder of the Organization, said it was an annual event with some support from institutions and individuals.

She said the organization takes care of the education of vulnerable, needy but brilliant children.

Ms Garglo said since the establishment of the organization three years ago, it had its list 19 children it was taking care of, adding that, “one of the 19 is in the polytechnic, three and six in the senior and junior high respectively and nine in the basic schools.”

Ms Ruby Nutor, a member of the Lions Club said there was the need for organizations to support orphan organizations like the “No Limit Charity Organization” to discharge its duties.

Ms Nutor said: “This is the first time the Lions Club is supporting this organization but has been partnering with other organization.”
