No funds for Sikabeng-Nsutapong feeder roads – Kwasi Amoako-Atta

The Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako-Atta, has admitted that there are no funds available for the Sikabeng-Nsutapong feeder roads.

He made this disclosure at the 16th Parliamentary sitting held on October 27, 2017.

“Engineering design studies on the Sikabeng to Nsutapong feeder road have already been carried out. The road will be considered for the necessary intervention when funds are available”, he stated.

He also added that the road was not under any rehabilitation programme, though it is currently undergoing maintenance.

“There is no current rehabilitation programme on the road. However routine maintenance works will be carried out on the road as part of the year 2017 maintenance programme”, he said.

The Sikabeng-Nsutapong road is a 17.60 km long feeder road in the Yilo-Krobo District of the Eastern Region and it is currently in a poor condition.
