No More Coups

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Lt. General Seth Obeng (pictured left), has reiterated assurances to Ghanaians and the international community that the military in Ghana would not take up arms to overthrow a democratically elected government.

“The democratic dispensation that we have all enjoyed till present should be improved, preserved and maintained at all times”, he said.

Lt. Gen. Obeng made the observations at the close of a two-day workshop for the media at Burma Camp, Accra.
