No Fake Malta Guinness on Ghanaian market-FDA

The Food and Drugs Authority(FDA) has stated that products from Guinness particularly “Malta Guinness” are safe for consumption and have urged the public to disregard social media reports suggesting otherwise.

According to the FDA, in a press statement, their attention was drawn to an article in circulation on social media of two brands of Malta Guinness one of which is purported to be fake.

“The FDA wishes to inform the general public that both products have been duly registered by the FDA and are therefore genuine products.

Furthermore, the general public is to note that one of the products is imported from Nigeria by Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited, whiles the other is from Togo and was imported by Addra Sari Limited.”the statement captured.
