The Member of Parliament for Nkawkaw, Joseph Frimpong, narrowly escaped a motor accident on Sunday, December 8, 2025, when his 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser reportedly veered off the road and hit a nearby house.

The crash caused significant damage to parts of walls of the building.

The incident was reported on the X page of the State News on Monday, December 8, 2025.

"The Nkawkaw MP escaped a near-fatal accident yesterday afternoon after his 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser reportedly veered off the road and crashed into a nearby house, breaking parts of its walls," the post read.

A video accompanying the post showed the Land Cruiser partly mangled as it lay on a towing vehicle.

According to the post, no serious injuries were recorded during the incident.

Joseph Frimpong, who was rescued from the vehicle, was rushed to a health facility for medical evaluation.

"The cause of the incident remains unclear. No serious injuries were reported, but the MP was rescued and rushed to the hospital for further medical checks," the post read.

The Nkawkaw MP is yet to publicly speak on the matter, as well as no official details on this crash has been communicated to the public by the police.
