New Patriotic Party Holds Rally At Madina

The MP for Ga North, Mr.. Samson Otu-Darko, has appealed to residents in the constituency to put their political affiliations aside and unite for the development of their communities. He was speaking at rally organised by the New Patriotic Party at Madina near Accra to introduce the New Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the Party, Mr.. Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, and the regional executive. Mr.. Otu-Darko asked the people to rally behind him as their representative in Parliament for the progress of the constituency, because it is only in unity that they can move forward. The MP for Akim Oda, Mr.. Yaw Osafo Maafo, expressed concern about the high rate of unemployment in the country and called for effective measures to rectify the situation. On his part, Mr.. Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey asked Ghanaians to vote for the party in the next general elections, because it has the capability to run the affairs of the country better. The Ga North Chairman of the Party, Mr.. Emmanuel Adu-Gyamfi, urged the opposition parties to ensure that the Electoral commission is truly independent.
