National Sports Authority boss visits Starlets

Director of National Sports Authority, Robert Sarfo Mensah has encouraged the players of the Ghana National Under 17 team ahead of their impending World Cup in India.

The NSA boss visited the team at their camp in Prampram and took time to boost their morale after presenting fruits and other items to them.

“We are here to encourage you and show appreciation for the sacrifices you have made,” Mensah stated.

“We know the education of some of you has been affected due to the national commitment but on behalf of the Ministry and the President, all I will say is we are solidly behind you,”

“We are aware of the challenges you are facing but in all you have been doing your maximum best for the country,”

“You have to go and achieve something for the country and also for yourself,”

Ghana will face host nation India, USA and Columbia in the Under 17 in October.
