National Security Must Investigate Anthony Kabu’s Tape - NUGS

The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) is growing disappointed in the proliferation
of tape recordings of some “big wigs” in the country stoking dissension and discord in the
upcoming General Election in December, 2012.

After the alleged tape of Mr. Yaw Gyan- the National Organizer of the National Democratic
Congress (NDC) inciting party foot soldiers and promising to recruit them into the nation’s
security apparatus, we have again been inundated with a tape of the National Youth
Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr. Anthony Kabu - expressing his intention to
bring some mercenaries from Libya to disrupt the peace we are enjoying as a people of this
love-filled nation.

The Union will not sit idle for persons to wreck havoc or visit untoward hardship on our
people.
NUGS wants to call on the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI) and the Police Service of
Ghana to take up the investigation of Mr. Anthony Kabu’s tape which when well done will
stall the unwarranted presence of mercenaries who’s stock of trade has been to sow
hardship, smuggling, disunity and conflict in the coming General Election.
We will pursue this case among other tapes for sanity and peace to prevail in the pre and
post-election life of our country.

Long Live Peace
Long Live Ghana
