National Repentance Day On Saturday

Religious bodies throughout the country are to converge at the National Theatre on Saturday for a one-day programme dubbed ?National Repentance Day?.

The programme aims at seeking God?s intervention for peaceful and violence-free elections in December, and also for Ghana?s prosperity.

Besides the orthodox and charismatic religious bodies as well as muslim groups expected at the function, representatives of all the Political Parties would also be in attendance.

The programme, which is being organised by Preuma Foundation, an NGO, would also be used to pray for peace in Dagbon and other conflict areas on the African continent.
