Non-Partisan Better Ghana Agenda On Course…
The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) government has once again had occasion to manifest its strong desire to building a Better Ghana; and even in death, His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills’ light, is still shining on the path of the Government he left behind.
The late President Atta Mills, having set the solid foundation of his administration without caring “whose ox is gored”; and ensuring that the law of the land remains no respecter of persons, the John Mahama-led government directs its searchlight on a high-ranking member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The said high-ranking officer of the NDC, is, none other than the National Organiser of the party, Mr. Yaw Boateng-Gyan.
The Informer is confirming on authority that, the National Security outfit is not allowing the NDC National Organiser, Yaw Boateng-Gyan, to walk around freely without answering questions as regards statements he’s admitted to have made during an interaction with party foot-soldiers.
Speaking to Citi FM’s Richard Dela Sky yesterday morning, Col. Larry Gbevlo-Lartey, National Security Co-ordinator, emphatically stated that Yaw Boateng-Gyan will be answering some critical questions relating to the statements, he, the NDC National Organiser has admitted, dropped from his lips.
Without mincing words, and speaking in typical military lingo, the National Security capo said that, his outfit was not taking the matter lightly, and would seek pertinent answers to pertinent questions.
“I want to personally interview the gentleman; and I can assure you that I will do that” Larry Gbevlo-Lartey emphasizes.
Responding to a specific statement made by Mr. Yaw Boateng-Gyan, in relation to recruitment into a Special Force of the Ghana Armed Forces, the National Security capo said that, the National Organiser of the NDC, obviously does not know what he is talking about.
“There are laid-down procedures for enlistment into the Ghana Armed Forces, as well as, selection to join the Special Forces; and so if a civilian sits in his home and say things that he knows nothing about, that is meaningless”, Col. Gbevlo-Lartey suggests.
Not leaving his interview with the rather obnoxious Richard Sky, open-ended, the National Security chief assures the entire nation that, every vein is being stretched to ensure that Ghana goes through the December polls unscathed.
“We are confident that we are on top of all the issues and Ghanaians can rest assured that the security of the nation is in safe hands”
The swift move by the National Security Capo to invite the NDC National Organizer for questioning, is a far cry from what happened during the tenure of President John Agyekum Kufuor; when Lord Commey, the then National Organiser of the NPP, was heard loudly admitting that he had trained cocaine-choked “ACTION TROOPERS”, who were going to be deployed to cause mayhem during the 2004 election.
Indeed, the ACTION TROOPERS were unleashed on unsuspecting Ghanaians and that accounted for the NPP being able to “STEAL” the 2004 election; with Jake Obetsebi Lamptey announcing the results at the Castle Gardens even before the Electoral Commissioner could perform his constitutionally-mandated duty of announcing election results.
Apart from Lord Commey’s ACTION TROOPERS, the current National Organiser of the NPP, Alhaji Moctar Bamba, also had his wee-infested “BAMBA BOYS”; while Maxwell Kofi Juma also had his “MAXWELL BOYS”.
As the records have it, it was Maxwell Kofi Juma’s MAXWELL BOYS, who were contracted by Lawyer Atta Akyea, Malik Alhassan Yakubu, and others, to transport dead bodies from the Ashanti Region to the Volta Region, to create the false impression that Voltarians were a barbaric group of people, who were in the business of killing Akan NPP poling agents.
