Politicians in Ghana are capable of doing the unthinkable when they are thirsty and hungry for power. We have seen political party aspirants ride in trotro, some stirring banku and even plaiting the hair of Constituents.

On occasions some have stepped out on the streets to enjoy kofi broke man with members of the public.

Latest to join this vote for me media PR stunt is former Gender and Social Protection Minister and Rachel Appoh's 'best friend' Nana Oye Lithur.

The women advocate is eyeing the NDC parliamentary ticket for the Adentan Constituency in their forthcoming primaries where she will have to battle Adamu Mohammed Ibrahim believed to be the younger brother of Second Lady Hajia Samira Bawumia.

As part of her campaign plans Nana Oye Lithur yesterday prayed with a section of the Muslim community in the Adenta Constituency and shared it on her Social Media pages.

This move has generated a lot of heat with some Ghanaians criticizing her for faking Islamic players under the guise of winning votes in the upcoming primaries.

As usual with politicians, members of the public sympathetic to the opposition NDC have jumped to her defence going into their archives to pull pictures from other NPP top men doing same or worst to equalize what Nana Oye Lithur did.
