Former Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection Nana Oye Lithur has been described as a shameless opportunist for being quiet on recent abuses of Ghanaian.

New Patriotic Party (NPP) firebrand, Kennedy Agyapong is questioning why gender activists like her have remained mute over the misogynistic comments made by the founder of the Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi against Ashanti, Fanti and Ewe women.

According to him, Oye Lithur was very loud when he (Kennedy Agyapong) made comments against former Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) Madam Charlotte Osei but appears indifferent to current happenings

“Women activists like Nana Oye Lithur that I said something about Charlotte Osei, she was able to organize Queen Mothers, women against me. Where is Nana Oye Lithur? She is shameless opportunist. Where is she if indeed she is fighting for women? Where are the queen mothers in this country? Do we really have women in this country to take up this guy”, he quizzed on Net 2 TV’s dialogue on Tuesday monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

He vowed to unleash women on the controversial man of God so they beat him to pulp to serve as a deterrent to others who feel they can insult women in the country and get away with it.

“Let him know that it is no longer Mahama who is in power. I will contract women to drill you. Women are those who will drill him and his other foolish junior pastors who were responding in agreement with those comments he made”, he threatened.

In his view, the women groups he classified as foolish, property-grabbing and doormats are rather hardworking women in the country who ought to be appreciated and not denigrated wondering where he got that useless motivation from.
