-NPP Man Discloses
Intelligence Desk Report
Contrary to claims by the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Director of Communications, Nana Akomea that, the party abhors the use of intemperate language and condemns their Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin North, Mr. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, in his infamous war declaration, intelligence picked up by The Informer reveals otherwise.
Pleading for anonymity for obvious reasons, a leading member cum bankroller of the NPP, in an exclusive telephone conversation with this paper over the weekend, debunks assertions by the party’s Director of Communications, in which he sought to create the impression that the party frowns on the use of immoderate language by its members, and that, it was not happy with the utterances of the controversial Assin North MP, for which he is currently standing trial.
According to him, Nana Akomea’s claims should not be taken serious, in that; majority of the party leadership endorses the villainous war declaration and genocidal comments by Kennedy Agyapong.
“Even though, Kennedy Agyapong is facing the consequences of his actions alone, I know for a fact that Nana Addo supports him for reemphasizing his hatred for the Ga-Dangmes and Voltarians”, the leading member hinted.
”Nana Addo has never forgiven Gas for voting massively against him in the 2008 general elections and has vowed to teach them a bitter lesson; so why will he then condemn Kennedy Agyapong , who has reiterated his stance”, he questioned.
“It is a fact that the party is suffering in its campaign as a result of Assin North MP’s pronouncements, but the fact of the matter is that, many in the party, particularly Nana Addo, supports his (Kennedy Agyapong) comments”, he further stated.
“Have you heard Nana Addo condemn Kennedy Agyapong , no: Because he supports what he has said, so why is Nana Akomea trying to throw dust into people’s eyes”, he asked.
“How long did it take Nana Addo to comment on the alleged beating of Ursula Owusu and why has he, till date, not commented on Kennedy’s war declaration that calls for Gas and Ewes to be slaughtered”, he queried.
“Nana Akomea is just being cosmetic with the truth when he is very much aware that his flagbearer is in absolute support of what Kennedy said”, the member pointed out, advising his party’s Director of Communications not to push Kennedy Agyapong further to say things that have the tendency to affect the electoral fortunes of the party, come December 07, he concludes.
However, credible information gathered by this paper’s insider sources, has it that, Nana Akufo Addo is angry with Nana Akomea, following his attempt to disown Kennedy Agyapong, and has asked the party leadership to call him (Akomea) to order.
Below Are Publications Carried Out Earlier On How Akufo Addo Endorses Kennedy Agyapong’s War Declaration And Genocidal Comments Against Gas.
Kennedy Agyapong Exposes
NPP’s Agenda Against Gas
News Desk Report
Though it has never been in doubt that the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has always been scornful toward non-Akans particularly Gas, events of recent times have reinforced that party’s abhorrence for the Niis and Naas of Ghana.
Despite the fact that it is not proper to remind decent-thinking Ghanaians of these events, occurrences on the political landscape make it necessary to recap how the NPP has no respect for Gas, and had wished that they do not exist, evident in the way and manner they distributed Ga lands among themselves under the Kufuor-led NPP regime.
Gas, having been referred to as inferior people and told in plain language not qualified to lead the NPP in the capacity of a flagbearer, recent pronouncements by the embattled Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin North, Kennedy Akompreko Ohene Agyepong, who is standing trial for treason, has exposed the NPP’s plot against the people of Ga extraction.
Being the agenda of his party to wipe-out people not from Akan origin, Kennedy Ohene Agyepong last Friday on his radio station, OMAN FM incited his party supporters to take up arms against Ewes and Gas because, the NPP wants power “at all cost”.
As if his inflammatory statement was not enough, the loudmouth Assin North MP, drawing inspiration from his party’s flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo’s “all die be die” war mantra and assuming the position of warlord of the NPP “all die be die” brigade, went ahead to declare war on the state, daring the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Paul Tawiah Quaye and the National Security Coordinator, Lieutenant Colonel Larry Gbevlo Lartey to come and arrest him.
Even though, a Human Rights Court yesterday granted Kennedy Agyepong bail on a health-related ground, his recent call on NPP party sympathizers to brutalized Gas, and many derogatory remarks made about them by Akans in the NPP, is a tacit indication that they will not spare Gas in the unlikely event that they get the nod in this year’s election; to once again rule this country, having demonstrated much hatred towards them.
Perhaps, the likes of Samuel Odoi Sykes, Professor Mike Ocquaye and his son, Lord Commy, Oboshie Sai Coffie, certificateless Jake Otanka Obestebi-Lamptey and Gas in the NPP will have to revise their notes since according to the Akan population in the NPP, they are inferior and do not qualify to be elected flagbearer of the party.
However, the detention of the Assin North MP and his subsequent treason charges preferred against him should serve as a deterrent to all politicians who think they are above the laws of Ghana.
On this note, we call on political party activists and social commentators to exercise restraint and to be decent; so as not to disturb the peace and stability of the country.
Ga-Dangmes ‘Grateful’
To Kennedy Agyapong
For Revealing NPP’s Agenda Against Them
News Desk Report
Following this paper’s publication last Friday 20th April, 2012 as regard how the Assin North Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Akompreko Ohene Agyepong via his inflammatory comments exposes the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) of its sinful intrigue against the people of Ga origin and Ewes, the Ga-Dangmes have responded swiftly.
Channelling their congratulatory message through The Informer, the Ga-Dangme people stretching from Keje OBUTU, Keyabee ADA Shwilao; Keje Nshormgbe and Keyagbee Kooyigbe (i.e. from North, South, East and West), say they are very “grateful” to Kennedy Agyapong for revealing in public what his party has in stock for them.
Even though, they vow not to descend in the gutters with the Assin North MP irrespective of how persistently he has rained insults on them, they pointed out that with a population of over 7% Nationally; with their total population in Greater Accra region being over 29% and that of over 18% in the Eastern Region, they will teach Nana Akufo-Addo and his NPP a very bitter lesson come December 07, 2012.
“Having declared war to wipe out those of us from Ga-Dangme, we will prove to Kennedy Agyapong and the NPP that we matter when it comes deciding who becomes the leader of this country as well as the particular party that is voted into power; and we will do everything possible to ensure that the NPP is defeated in this year’s general election”, those who spoke to this paper hinted.
“We will not go to war because Kennedy Agyapong has asked Ashanti’s to kill us, but with the power bestowed on us by the electoral laws of this country, we will let the NPP know of what we are capable of doing come December 07”, they added.
“Indeed, we are showering enough blessing on Kennedy Agyapong and shall forever be grateful to him because, he has unveiled wicked intentions his party has against us; and we will act accordingly to ensure that they stay in opposition since we do not want any bloodshed in this country”, they conclude.
These were statements from those Ga-Dangmes who called into our Osu office to express their gratitude to Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, for inciting Ashanti’s against them as they promise the NPP a sweet revenge, come December 07.
For the records, Kennedy Ohene Agyepong, days ago on his radio station, OMAN FM incited his party supporters to take up arms against Ewes and Gas because, the NPP wants power “at all cost”.
As if his inflammatory statement was not enough, the loudmouth Assin North MP, drawing inspiration from his party’s flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo’s “all die be die” war mantra, and assuming the position of warlord of the NPP “all die be die” brigade, went ahead to declare war on the state, daring the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Paul Tawiah Quaye and the National Security Coordinator, Lieutenant Colonel Larry Gbevlo-Lartey to come and arrest him.
However, he has been charged for terrorism, treason, felony and attempted genocide and currently standing trial.
