NWABIAGYE RURAL BANK GIVES ?1.5 MILLION TO COMMUNITY

**** The Nwabiagye Rural Bank has presented a cheque for ?1.5 million to the Subin Sub-Metropolitan Assembly for the rehabilitation of a public place of convenience at Sagoelane Adum. The amount forms part of the Bank's assistance package for people in its catchment area to help them improve upon their environment . Presenting the cheque, the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank, Mr.. Ampofo Apiah-Menka said though the Bank's Agency at Sagoelane operates under a well air-conditioned environment, the Board has realised the need to assist the people who are the customers of the Bank to stay in a healthy environment. This, he said, will enable customers of the bank to transact business under healthy conditions. The Chairman of the Subin-Sub Metropolitan Assembly, Nana Nsiah Awuah who received the cheque, thanked the Board for its gesture. The Assembly member for the Nsuase Electoral Area, Madam Serwaa Derkyi appealed to traders to employ young labourers to clean their surroundings and also to provide dust bins in front of their premises to ensure cleanliness.
