The leadership of National Union of Ghana Students, NUGS is honoured by this statement to extend a good will message to the thousands of final year students at the Junior High School level as they commenced their Basic Education Certificate Examination today, Monday, June 4th, 2018.
It is highly prudent that we commend them for the hard work and steadfastness in their three years journey at the elementary level of education; to all the gallant candidates we say Ayekoo for your hard work and making it to the final stage at the Junior High School level.
NUGS further extends its profound congratulations to His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana on your successful one year in office with special in the education sector, we commend you for the unprecedented payment of all BECE registration fee for all candidates in this year's examination which will be replicated in the subsequent years.
As the Ultimate students union in Ghana, we want to use this medium to make a passionate appeal to all candidates to eschew all forms of examination miscobducts but rather concentrate on your books and with the favour of God we believe you will all come out successful.
To our affable and hardworking invigilators we urge you to exhibit a high sense of professionalism in your dispensation of your duties, NUGS will not take it lightly with invigilators who intends to put the law in their hands by way of infringing on the right of any candidates at the various examination centers across the country.
On this note we wish to encourage all our BECE candidates to remove every form of fear in them, it is our prayer and hope that God shall grant them abundant retentive memory to complete this hurdle in the educational circles, we wish you all success in your examination.
