Kade, Dec. 6, GNA - The Kade constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) rounded off its campaign for tomorrow's general election with a rally at Kade Zongo.
Mr Ofosu Asamoah, Member of Parliament for Kade, told the Moslems and Zongo communities to disregard negative propaganda by opponents of the NPP that when the party was re-elected it would expel aliens from the country.
He said the Aliens Compliance Order belonged to history and that since the NPP came to power in 2001 no such expulsions took place. Mr Asamoah said all people of Zongo were safe and secured in Ghana provided they were law abiding. He reminded the Zongo community that the party held them in very high esteem that was why it elected Alhaji Aliu Mahama as Vice President from 2001 to date.
