Supporters of the ruling New Patriotic Parties took to the streets last nights to celebrate their victory in the just-ended elections. The celebration was countrywide. Here are some pictures from the national capital.

Early in the morning on Friday, NPP supporters gathered in front of the private residence of President John Agyakum Kufuor to congratulate him on his victory. They sung and cheered until the president came out to address them. The president earlier delivered his victory speech flanked by several government functionaries and his wife.
