Deputy Protocol Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Frimpong, has cautioned party faithful that the future of the party is at risk if its key leaders continue to face internal attacks and propaganda campaigns.
According to a report by citinewsroom, he made the remarks in a statement issued on Monday, September 9, 2025.
“These are the very people who will be leading us into 2028. If we destroy their image today, who will carry us to victory tomorrow?” he asked.

Frimpong further accused the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), with support from state security, of deliberately targeting NPP dignitaries to weaken the party.
He entreated party members to remain united, disciplined, and respectful of their leaders as the party positions itself for the next election.

As the NPP prepares for its presidential primary scheduled for January 31, 2026, party leaders and members have been urged to address internal disagreements and remain united.
