NPP must put up or shut up – Allotey Jacobs

Central Regional Communications Director of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs, has advised President John Mahama’s detractors to keep their mouths shut if they have nothing to offer.

According to him, it’s unfortunate for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) and some individuals to habitually picked-apart on the Mahama-led administration without contributing any palpable ideas for consideration.

He noted that the unbearable hardship which has left many Ghanaians in sorrow must not only be a nuisance for the sitting government but all.

Allotey Jacobs, however, called on Ghanaians irrespective of their political party affiliation to help build Ghana.

“This nation does not belong to President Mahama; it belongs to all of us. Ghana is calling on all to contribute for the betterment of the country. President Mahama alone cannot do that,” he said.

He opined that despite the NPP’s constant complain of hardship in recent times, millions of dollars are going to be splashed in their upcoming flagbearership contest.

To him, the NPP only shares crocodile tears to deceive Ghanaians just to gain power.

“There is dishonesty among the NPP. They are making unnecessary noise as if they care. How can they cry of hardship and spend such whooping amount of money on just an internal election…hypocrite. If you can’t help to build Ghana, just shut up,” he said on Asempa FM.
