Former National Youth Organiser for the Convention People's Party (CPP), James Kwabena Bomfeh Jnr., popularly known as Kabila has called on the leadership of the New Patriotic Party to instill sanity in the party members as it gears towards its congress this year.
Kabila, contributing to Peace FM's political analysis programme, implored the NPP leadership to wake up and bring the members as well as some party executives to order.
Reacting to the internal strife in the NPP, Kabila expressed worry over the new appointment list of Communicators put out by the General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong.
To him, every political party has a constitution which spells out the rules and regulations as well as procedures, which are outlined to guide the leaders in decision-making.
He decried any inappropriate actions by the NPP General Secretary and any other leader within the party, stressing that it is an "act of irresponsibility" should they flout the constitutional provisions.
Mr. Kwabena Bonfeh therefore urged the party's leadership to resolve the conflicts among the party members amicably in order to bring unity in the party.
“Their leaders that I’ve described in like manner that they can water down, should rise to the occasion and resolve this behaviour of irresponsibility. I expect them to sit everyone down and patiently deal with anybody who might be flouting orders, misconducting himself or growing wings,” he stated.
