NPP and NDC have all failed Ghana - US returnee

NPP and NDC must be held responsible for the rot NPP and NDC must be held responsible for the rot

A US returnee to Ghana and ardent radio listener in Ghana, Madam Claudia Amaniapong has chastised politicians in the country for the economic downturn laying the blame on the doorstep of the two main political parties; the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to her, the NPP and NDC must be held responsible for the rot in every sphere of the country that has resulted its economic woes.

She observed that both parties in government have done little to ameliorate the suffering of Ghanaians by implementing pragmatic policies that seek to protect the business community and the ordinary citizens.

Madam Claudia singled out the NDC and said it worsen the woes of the country within its 8-years rules observing that voting them out in 2016 was one of the best decisions to have happened to the country.

“It was right Mahama was voted out”, Madam Claudia Amaniapong spoke on Kumasi-based Ultimate FM’s morning show during assessment of one year administration of President Akufo-Addo.

“The corruption; look at GYEEDA, look at Woyome and the medical stores. …we don’t know what happened….. look at SSNIT. All these corruption nine years I have been in this country not even one official or a politician has been imprisoned”, she bemoaned

“I haven’t got PhD or Masters so I am speaking as ordinary Ghanaian”, Madam Claudia Amaniapong told host Lantam Papako during an in-studio discussion.

“2009 I opened a bakery and I was buying a bag of flour GH¢58 up to last year it GH¢138 …the fifteen kilo gas was GH¢69 now we buy it GH¢250” she revealed.

According to her, President Akufo-Addo must do well to ameliorate the living standard of poor Ghanaians before their situations get out of hand.

“I am ordinary citizen. …I am not a politician [and] I don’t know the figures they work round so I am speaking as Ghana who pays taxes to the country”, the Chief Executive Officer of a Baker factory stated.
