NPP activists urged to be vigilant and expose NDC propaganda

Kumasi, Feb 26, GNA- Mr Isaac A.D. Afriyie, a Kumasi businessman and a staunch member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has reiterated his call on the party activists to be vigilant and expose the political propaganda of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He said the NDC has mounted a vigorous and intensive propaganda campaign to create confusion and divide the rank and file of the NPP members especially in the constituencies where sitting Members of Parliament (MPs) are yet to hold their primaries.

Mr Afriyie, who was the national treasurer of the Young Elephants Movement (YEM) in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Kumasi on Wednesday, said the NDC machinations and political tactics was aimed at creating confusion and causing disaffection among the NPP supporters. He asked the NPP leadership to be wary of persons who claim to have defected from other parties to the NPP.
