It is with distinct pleasure that NPP-USA congratulates Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for being selected by our leader, and for being unanimously approved by our council of elders to join Nana Akufo-Addo on our presidential ticket as the next Vice President of Ghana. With your addition to our presidential ticket, NPP offers the best combination of maturity, talent, experience, and professionalism that would be available for Ghanaians to choose, come December 7 this year. Our great party and indeed great country is fortunate to have such a superior option to the stale, inept and corrupt Mills/Mahama administration.
On the same note, we would like to congratulate the next president of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his wisdom in choosing to stay with Dr. Bawumia as his running mate and wish him a belated happy birthday and God blessings. The timely choice and respective competencies of Nana and Bawumia ticket has reverberated around the world. We can report that a statement captured in a conversation between some neutral stakeholders “the NPP’s number two man is even better than the NDC’s number one man” bears testimony to the fact that your selection of Dr. Bawumia is being received positively here in the western hemisphere.
Ghana is in a state of decline under the watch of hapless John Evans Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama. Due to their mismanagement of our nation’s affairs, indiscipline has infested the Ghanaian society; bold-faced lying has become the modus operandi of the government; cost of living has skyrocketed while standard of living has plummeted; corruption has become so prevalent that it has evolved into open thievery; and as if those were not bad enough, President Mill has lost complete control over his own administration. Like Nero who smoked pipe while Rome burnt, President Mills is dosing off at the castle while gargantuan corruption engulfs our motherland.
To correct the various ills of our dear country and steer her back onto the path of growth, prosperity, discipline, and rapid development, Ghana needs a team that is capable, pragmatic, and honest with its intentions. Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia represents that team of hope, and Ghanaians will vote massively for hope in the December election to rescue Ghana. We take this opportunity to restate our total support and our commitment to leaving no stone unturned to ensure a resounding victory for our party in December.
